Within a duplex penthouse carved out of a historic church converted into a boutique residence in Noble Square, Chicago, PROjECT. interiors transforms a 3-bedroom / 2.5-bath home overlooking the city and park into a vibrant, theatrical, and deeply material space. The intervention preserves the original arches, timeworn tiles, and architectural beams that cross the living area, integrating them with bold design choices: enveloping millwork, breeze-block partitions, sculptural stone slabs, custom furnishings, and lighting with an almost ritual character.
A restyling that alternates playful and contemplative moments, enriched by female-led artisanal collaborations that introduce ethereal drapery, bespoke wallcoverings, irreverent artworks, and luminous statement lamps. An interior that lives between revival and comfort, where every detail amplifies the personality of the building’s original soul.
A bathroom conceived as a “room of quiet.”

Within the residence, one of the main bathrooms features the Uno, Nessuno Rosa Antico Cotone wallpaper, designed by Marika Tardio for MaVoix and produced on MaVoix SAND backing—a durable, tactile surface that enhances the space’s material richness and refined sensory quality.
